Our Mission

The mission of Saco Bay Community Church is to see people’s lives changed by the Gospel and develop mature followers of Christ.  In short, to know Christ and make Him known. (Matthew 28:18-20; Colossians 1:28)

At SBCC, our mission is taken from the Great Commission of Jesus to his followers.

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:18-20

As a church, we can and should do many things and do them well, but our chief desire is to be obedient to the command of Christ and to proclaim the gospel and make disciples!
